YOUTH DIRECTORS
Orthodox synagogue in Edison/Highland Park, NJ seeks experienced husband/wife team with warmth and energy to coordinate a full schedule of youth activities and create a welcoming atmosphere for children of all ages. This is a part-time position with much of the activities taking place on the weekends but requiring weekday preparation and communication. Duties include coordinating Shabbat morning youth groups, overseeing Teen Minyan, running Shabbat programming, shabbatonim, extensive holiday events, family events, and a gamut of activities from pre-school age to teens including chesed events, educational programs and social activities. Ohr Torah is seeking candidates with innovative ideas and the initiative to make those ideas a reality. Candidates should have experience in youth programming and excellent organizational skills. The position will begin late August 2018.
Ohr Torah is an Orthodox congregation in central New Jersey that serves a warm and diverse orthodox community. Our shul is led by Rabbi Yaakov Luban and Assistant Rabbi Sariel Malitzky. The youth department services approximately 100 children from infants through high school age with Shabbat and holiday programming. Children are an important part of the shul, and we pride ourselves on being a “kid friendly” shul. Our youth directors are an integral part of the shul and community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible to perform physical examinations required to evaluate complex dermatological problems
· Responsible to order appropriate laboratory studies and other special examinations
· Responsible to collect specimens for skin pathological examinations
· Responsible to analyze and interpret data, formulate diagnoses and problem lists, and establish plans for the management of health problems
· Responsible to treat problems within your scope of competence and exercise judgment on problems requiring consultation, referral or evaluation
· Responsible to counsel patients on medical problems, use of medication, expected effects of treatment, and other health maintenance matters
· Responsible to provide consultations on complex medical problems to other health care providers
· Responsible to manage common problems encountered in primary care clinics, only on the skin
· Responsible to prescribe medication(s) as determined by the CMADC formulary and monitor side-effects of medication and adverse reactions
· Responsible to perform dermatology surgery where indicated
· Responsible to refer patients, as needed to specialty and sub specialty providers both in house and outside the center as needed, i.e. behavioral health, dental, nutrition counseling.
· Responsible to perform all duties and responsibilities as delineated in your deeming and scope of services as approved by the Medical Director.
