Director of Operations – Real Estate
Office Location: Brooklyn New York
Salary: $175,000 – $200,000 DOE
The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing effective operating procedures across the Real Estate Management company. Should have full control over the organization’s processes. Working with the HR department to implement hiring procedures and communicating with upper management to improve company operations.
As an upper management official, the Director of Operations will supervise a team of around 15 personnel in the office such as A/P and A/R personnel and general office admins. Will also be in close contact with high-level managers, while reporting to the Chief Executive Officer or Managing Director.
The Director of Operations is responsible for:
• Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and guidelines for the organization
• Developing and executing new growth directives
• Making sure there is competent personnel and oversee employee training programs
• Working with the human resources department to develop and implement staff evaluation parameters
• Liaising with departmental heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide operational compliance
Skills and Qualifications:
• Superior knowledge of the Real Estate industry regulations and operational guidelines
• Minimum of 8 years experience working in an operations role & a minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership role
• Excellent leadership and organizational abilities
• In-depth knowledge of data analysis software packages
• Outstanding negotiation skills
